My membership grade in gmarket this month is SVIP it is the highest membership grade among shoppers of the global online market. I have attained it because of constant shopping at the online shopping  portal. My husband and I find it more convenient to shop online than buying them in local stores, not only cheaper but mostly the items are free delivery which means we save not only money but effort as well.

It has more benefits being an SVIP member aside from higher percentage of discounts, coupons SVIP also has a free 1,000 Gmileage to claim. When  Gmilieage reached to 10,000 you can exchange it to Gcash which can be used on shopping. Well if I want to be SVIP member again next month I have to get 7 more points, 1 point is equivalent to one product you shop in gmarket. I am hoping I could get 7 more points. Aha!

The other day while surfing through Gmarket I found new shirts on sale, I was hesitant if I am going to buy new shirts or not. I just added the shirts I like in my shopping cart but the next day I received an alert that one of the shirts in my shopping cart is out stock.  I chose another shirt and decided to order right away.

In two days I received it, delivery the shirts almost didn’t turn out well when the delivery guy call and I can’t understand what he is talking because I can’t speak and understand Hangul. Just so lucky that he is able to find our apartment.

The clothes are good for the price, I got them on sale. They are comfortable to wear and on free size.

When the 1.1kg of oatmeal we bought from Asian store was all eaten my husband asked me to look for Quaker Oats on Gmarket. When we found a good deal we immediately add the item on my shopping cart and ordered it. In just few days we received it.

This oats is a good deal for  ₩36,900,  it contains two bags with total weight of 2.27kg. It’s cheaper compare buying  the 1.1kg oats.  I took the second picture today after we already opened the first bag so the second bag is already less oats.

The bag I ordered in gmarket already arrived few days ago, it was quick delivery. The courier actually cannot find our area so he called the number I gave when I order and my husband co-teacher told him to just deliver the package in the school the next day.

The bag is small and cute, the material was good but I’ll wait after we travel.  My husband teased me that the reason I bought this bag because of the apple logo on it. The bag has free button pin and a lotto ticket, not sure if I won. Haha

When I went home to Philippines my mother bought me a white Nike Shoes (Nike Dunks SB Women) so when I return to Korea I left my old shoes but as expected no matter what kind shoes I am going to wear it wouldn’t last long to my feet.  When we traveled to Myanmar most of the time we have to walk barefooted to visit temples everything went fine not until the day we have to left the country, we still have few hours before our flight so arriving back to Yangon we decided to hire a taxi that would take us to few places we didn’t visited yet and there’s the accident happened.

As already bit lazy to tie my shoe I just slide my feet inside and walk after my husband so he can take a photo of me before he keep his camera, right after I have found our my shoes was bended as I stepped on it like a sandal.  When we arrived in Korea my husband cut it from the inside and he found out the plastic support of the shoes was deformed, so he cut it leaving my Nike shoes torn from the inside.

As I felt it was too embarrassing to wear my pair of shoes in the gym with open hole in the inside I decided to browse for a cheap pair of shoes in Gmarket, I found few shoes on sale but the problem is I don’t know my shoe size in Korean so I look inside my old Nike shoes for my shoe size and search online for a converter.

I was able to find my Korean shoe size so I ordered the shoe I like together with the black bag. The shoe arrives two days late with the bag, it was delivered minutes earlier before we left the gym I think the delivery guy has been told by the landlord or by my husband co-teacher that we are out during that specific time.

I was not able to blog these past few days I got some issues with my computer. Anyway my 32G USB was delivered last Monday I was surprised when someone knock in our door holding a small parcel. I never thought it is going to be delivered to me I mean they are going to find our apartment after I messed up with our address. At first we thought my husband co-teacher was able to connect with the delivery company but when my husband went to school the next day, his co-teacher never get in touch with them. So they think the delivery company try few combinations when they cannot deliver the item.

Dunno how they find our apartment because I have tried to text them online correcting the address for my tracking number,  I have also email the seller and Gmarket which I never got any response. Oh well no matter how they find our apartment one thing is for sure I got my item.

When it arrives I immediately transfer all my files and as expected it is already full. I am thinking of purchasing another one when I saved for it.

This is my third shopping experience in Gmarket, it is a bad experience and it is my fault. I accidentally mixed up our new address I wrote the house number in wrong position, well if you don’t know Korean address are tend to change this year because the government changed their address system. Our new address is given to us written in Hangul so we asked my husband’s old co-teacher to translate it for us but unlike the first address it was not written in western way, you know Korean wrote their address in a different way so I mixed up.,

Anyway I send email to Gmarket customer service to help me translate what is written on the tracking information, as I am confused with one word but I never received a response from them. Maybe my inquiry is unimportant or they just never care.

Second I have email the seller to help me trace the item I have ordered from him and like Gmarket I also didn’t receive any response from him.  Maybe because it is weekend and that means I have to wait until Monday if I am going to receive a response from the seller but one thing is for sure today my ordered is gone because the tracking information indicates it is already delivered.

It is my fault anyway I wrote the wrong address, I know I should call the delivery company but there’s no way I can do it, not because we have no mobile phone but because I don’t speak their language and it is hard for me to explain it.  Hopefully my husband co-teacher is able to locate my item by calling the delivery company but dunno if he remember doing it as he is busy a person. When he tried to call the other day the line is busy so I am not sure if he called again or he remember calling them.

Well lesson learned. There will be no problem anyway if there’s no address changed and if I wrote the new address correctly but one thing is for sure I am not going to shop anymore at Gmarket  until my misfortune is still haunting me.  When it stops haunting me and it does not hurt anymore, I would probably shop again but this time I am going to be very extra careful but the bad thing is I can’t use my husband credit card even though I pay him on cash when I used his card because that’s what he told me after knowing my mistake. Hopefully he will changed his mind in the future., I hope so.

I received subscription email from Gmarket today and this high heel boots caught my attention,  the available color are brown and black I think I preferred black color so it will match in any color of my shirt, this boots is on sale and cost around $30 only. Would like to have one for winter, sad to say I need to ask my husband’s permission for his CC, then I am going to pay him afterwards which I can’t do right now as I have no money left and I have no savings yet.

I want to buy a bag that I can pair with formal clothes but I can’t find the bag I like around the shopping center.  Well I found the bag that I want in Gmarket but just too bad that I can’t buy it through paypal, because it  is restricted if the item is going to be deliver domestically.
